Week #55 - Immer Noch in Tiergarten (Still in Berlin!)

Hallo Lovelies!!

I have no time to write this week, but really quick!!

I am starting my tenth transfer (wir durfen jetzt ausflippen) and I am staying in Tiergarten, the city of miracles!!!!  YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of miracles: Max.  He is one.  He is 79 and the most prepared person I have ever met.  I dont usually like to say golden...but MAN!  This man is wonderful to say the least, and I will tell the whole story later, but he is getting baptized on the 16th of August and I have never been more excited for something in my life.  I love this man and am so happy that he is here!

Also, I love the missionaries I serve with!  I am SO blessed and I just LOVE MY MISSION!

Also I love all of you!  Stay happy and faithful!!  I am praying for you!!!

Week #54 - Tausch Wunders!

Hallo!!!
Ahh my heart is so full and I have no time to write!  But I love you all very very much!!

We saw LOTS of miracles this week!

1) TUASCH (exchanges)
I went to Marzahn with Sister Schrade who is an amazing missionary!  She took me out for new missionary finding my very frist day here in Germany, and now she is going home in two weeks.  Crazy, but it was a nice full circle moment.  Oh and guess who came to Tiergarten and called down the miracles of Heaven with my awesome companion....yep, this girl, Sister Tolman.

2) MICHAEL IS ON BAPTISMAL DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  MIRACLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had our lesson and he was just so happy the whole time and excited to really find out for himself!  He is so full of faith, and I know he will find his answers and I am so grateful to be a part of it!  That is all missions are, front row seats to lots of miracles.  #soblessed!  Please pray for Michael!!

3) I found my new favorite store:

4) We have been trying to teach this beautiful Romanian family of 9 kids, but the parents dont speak any German really, so we havent made a lot of progress.  But!!  Then, a MIRACLE!  We went by yesterday and met another one of the kids, this time a 15 year boy who has perfec erman and translated the whole lesson for us!  And!!  Even better!!!  He has more interest to learn than anybody!!  He is so sweet and excited and wants to come to our englishclass, young men, and sports activities this week!!  The prepared are out there, they are jus sometimes hiding and you have to dig a little bit deeper to find them, but they are there!!

This is the Lord's work.  I know it with all my soul, and I am so grateful to be a part of it!!  I feel so blessed!!!  I love my mission and I love being a missionary!!  And I love you all!!

Week 53- 1 Year

Hallo von Berlin!!!

Y'all, as of this week, I have been a missionary for an entire year!!!  Crazy!!  I only have 4 1/2 months auf mission left!!  Crazy!!

I just want to work and use every second that I have left, so that I can feel at the end of my mission that the Lord is pleased with my service.

Until then, I am HAPPY and working hard for my Father!  I know that God lives.  He loves us very much and has a plan for each one of us. He is always there to help us, and welcome us back.  He and His love are simply always there.  I feel so very loved by Him, and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to be here sharing that love with others as well!

I love you all and am praying for you!!!

Week #52 - 'MERICA

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!!  FROHLICH UNABHÄNGIGKEITS TAG!!!!

#somuchamericanpridethisweek #loveamerica #alsolovegermany #butreallyloveamerica

I think this week can be summed up with a song:

And I'm proud to be an american
where at least I know I'm free
And I wont forget the men who died
who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly STAND UP next to you
and defend her still today
'cause there aint no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA!!!

All of us American missionaries sang it so much this week, our German district leader and his Canadian companion knew all the words and could sing it by the end of the week! #merica

The Fourth of July was super fun because we saw lots of American pride and went over to my uncle's for cheesburgers and ribs and corn on the cob and potato salad and root beer floats and the whole 9 yards.  Also Sparklers on the balcony!  And then, afterwards, Germany played France, so there was a lot of German pride on the streets too!!  Pretty much the BEST day to be an American missionary in Germany! #justsohappy #ammonjoy
This week, we also had zone training meeting with our AMAZING leaders and President and SIster Kosak!  I just learned so much and felt the Spirit so strongly, and I am SO grateful to be here on a misison and to be able to serve in Berlin!  Twice!!  #SOBLESSED!! We are working hard and calling down the miracles of Heaven for this area, and we will change Germany and, someday, we will have a Temple in Berlin!!!

ALSO, ELDER BEDNAR IS COMING TO OUR MISSION IN SEPTEMBER AND WE ARE ALL SO EXCITED!!!

I love you all so much and am so grateful to have you in my life!!  I miss you and am praying for you!!  Thank you for the love and support, it keeps me going strong!  I love my mission and my God, and am working hard for Him!

Godbless!!
